We want every purchase to feel like a great decision. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help - whether that means a replacement or a refund. Here’s everything you need to know.
Our 90-Day Return Policy
Most items can be returned within 90 days of purchase - just bring your receipt or packing slip. Refunds go back to your original form of payment.
- Holiday purchases (Nov 1–Dec 31) may be returned through January 31.
Something Arrived Wrong? We’ve Got You.
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or isn’t what you ordered, we’ll make it right. You can choose:
- A replacement at no charge, or
- A full refund, including your original shipping cost.

Product-Specific Return Windows
Textbooks
Textbook returns have specific windows tied to the academic calendar—here’s what to know:
- Returning within the first 7 days of class? Bring your book in resaleable condition with your receipt and you’re all set.
- Bought your book later than 7 days after class started? You have 2 days from your purchase date to return it (up until the last week of classes).
- Dropped a course? No problem. Bring proof of your dropped course and you can return your textbook within 30 days of the class start date.
- Purchased during finals or the last week of class? These aren’t refundable, but they may qualify for our buyback program.
Digital Course Materials
- eBooks: Refundable within 14 days of first access, or within 30 days of purchase if you haven’t opened it yet—whichever comes first. Once more than 10% has been viewed or printed, refunds are no longer available.
- Physical access code cards: Returnable within 14 days, unopened.
- Online courseware (e.g. MyMathLab, McGraw Hill Connect): Refundable within 14 days of purchase.
- Digital delivery fees are non-refundable.
Graduation Regalia
- Cap and gown items are returnable within 30 days, as long as they’re new, unused, and unaltered.
Hardware & Software
- Unopened items: Returnable within 14 days in original sealed packaging.
- Opened items: Non-refundable, but covered by manufacturer’s warranty.
- Special order hardware: Non-refundable.
Other Merchandise
- Beauty items must be sealed and in new condition.
- Gift cards, clearance items, NIL merchandise, and shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the item is defective or incorrect.
How to Return
In Store
Just bring your item and receipt to your campus bookstore. Our team will take care of the rest.
By Mail
- Include your order confirmation or a note with your name, email, and order number.
- Pack your item securely and ship it with a trackable, insured method.
- Return shipping is your responsibility unless the item is defective or incorrect.
- Hold onto your tracking info until your refund is confirmed.
